Project goal: The project objective is to provide new knowledge and solutions for research into demographic change and migration processes in order to promote sustainable social development in Latvia.

Project results: The DemoMigPro project will focus on creating new knowledge and offering solutions to the demographic change research and migration processes to promote sustainable societal development in Latvia. The scientific quality of the project course and results will be ensured, firstly, by an interdisciplinary multi-institutional scientific and expert group; secondly, the scientific reliability of the results will be proven through peer-reviewed publications demonstrating methodological transparency, analytical robustness and reproducibility of the research. DemoMigPro will use an innovative co-creation approach to further advance the novelty of Latvian demographic change and migration research and increase the reliability of the results. An Expert and Advisory Board will be established at the initial stage of the project, focusing primarily on specific target groups, including relevant economic sectors, sectoral policy makers and practitioners, stakeholders, the general public and scientists.
