During his lecture at the Faculty of Engineering, R.Zīle emphasized the changing situation on the EU labour market indicating the most in-demand jobs in the near future. “I am pleased to meet young people here at the engineering centre. Demand for representatives of this area is growing rapidly across Europe,” said Zīle. Students from all faculties of RTA, academic staff, employees, as well as entrepreneurs from Rezekne had arrived to meet with the member of the European Parliament. RTA rector Professor Iveta Mietule presented R.Zīle with the book published by RTA “Regionology. Environmental Dimension. Latgale” by Gotfrīds Noviks, Edgars Čubars, Ludmila Kartunova, Vladimirs Vetreņņikovs.
After the lecture, R.Zīle had a meeting with the administration of RTA to further discuss the participation of the researchers of RTA in the EU research and innovation programme Horizon 2020.
R.Zīle thanked the administration of RTA for welcome and expressed the hope that the researchers of RTA will be increasingly actively involved in projects and contribute to research.
