During the visit, the guests were introduced to the structure of the RTA, study fields, and international cooperation.
While visiting laboratories at the faculty of Engineering, Mr. Seong-Jin Han with particular interest listened to Pāvels Cacivkins, laboratory assistant at the Physical Processes and Laser Technologies Research Centre (RTA), who told the guests about the RTA`s purposeful work in the fields of mechatronics, 3D, and laser technology.
Presenting the chemistry laboratories of the RTA, Ērika Teirumnieka, dean of the Faculty of Engineering, gave an insight into the collaboration between the RTA and entrepreneurs, stressing commissioned work implemented by the RTA students.
Mr. Seong-Jin Han welcomed the RTA`s performance and students` achievements and discussed possible further collaboration between the Republic of Korea and the RTA in the field of education, especially in the area of engineering and ICT.
