Students of the European joint Master`s study programme “Strategic Border Management” work on their Masters theses

From 22 until 26 October, Masters students of the European joint Master`s study programme “Strategic Border Management” and their research supervisors are meeting at Rezekne Academy of Technologies (RTA). The research supervisors, who also deliver lectures within the programme, discuss topicalities for improving the study modules.

The aim of the joint master`s study programme “Strategic Border Management” is to train highly qualified specialists in the field of border guard who are able to work in a dynamic local and international multicultural environment and plan the activities of their organizations and structural units.

The total duration of the programme is 18 months. Masters students deepen their knowledge of strategic management, leadership, innovations, and cooperation in the field of boarder guard, as well as develop Masters Theses.

Currently, students and academic staff of the programme represent 16 European countries, including two Masters students from Latvia.

RTA is one of the six higher education institutions participating in the implementation of the European Master`s study programme “Strategic Border Management”.

 Masters theses will be defended in April 2018, the Netherlands.
