LINK Commercialisation of research results

Commercialisation offers prepared by the Institute in 2018:

  • EU external border security, the internal security of Latvia: instruments for enhancing the EU external border security; proposals for enhancing the legal framework; build-up of professionalism and capacity of law enforcement institution officials;
  • monitoring and analysis of the media – a summary and analysis of publicity and information about a particular industry or a service in the mass media;
  • media consumption – an examination of the use and consumption of the media by various target audiences and the population of various age groups;
  • contribution to media literacy – media literacy training; seminars;
  • media content creation – the service provides stories of various genres about a good or service, or an enterprise. It is offered as a one-off or long-term service;
  • brand image creation;
  • brand image evaluation – a brand is an element of the visual identity of a product or an enterprise, which could be a name, designation, sigh, symbol, design or set of the mentioned elements. Consumers associate a brand image with certain values, strengths or weaknesses, visibility, consumption advantages of as well as their awareness and experience of or loyalty to a product or an enterprise. A brand contributes to competitiveness, helps to excel in the market and draw consumer attention;
  • competitor analysis and examination of their product assortment – persistent market and competitor research and observation is an opportunity for an enterprise to collect and analyse information on particular industries, markets and competitors, based on which the enterprise can make decisions on its business pathways. Being aware of the strengths and weaknesses of competitors, an enterprise has an opportunity to increase the value of its products, respond to changes in the market and customer wishes and enhance the competitiveness of its products;
  • correction of the psycho-emotional state in a multisensory environment created in an equipped room, which impacts the senses of hearing, sight, touch and smell. In the room, certain senses are stimulated by the use of sensory stimuli which, depending on the kind of the impact, strengthen or soothe the overall psycho-emotional state. The arrangement of the room and the technique applied contribute to the acquisition of self-regulation. The technique involves the use of the basic principles of Snoezelen therapy.
