RTA signs a cooperation agreement with Latvian Association of Special Education Teachers

On 30 November, Rezekne Academy of Technologies (RTA) signed a cooperation agreement with the Latvian Association of Special Education Teachers (LSpecPA). LSpecPA was established on 9 September 2017 with aim to represent special pedagogues/ special education teachers in Latvia, Europe, and in the world. Currently, the association represents more than 200 members from all regions of Latvia; five regional departments have been established.

The cooperation between the RTA and LSpecPA aims at supporting the education, projects and research work of the members, students and academic staff, as well as exchanging experience and supporing lifelong learning in the field of education.

The RTA and LSpecPA will cooperate in the following areas: exchange of information to ensure study process, project implementation, practical and scientific research; organization of meetings, symposiums, seminars, conferences and other events; joint development and implementation of academic, scientific research and other projects; joint publishing of scientific papers and projects in scientific proceedings and other publications; collaboration in development and implementation of joint study programmes (bachelor and master level); cooperation in the field of lifelong learning- development and implementation of programmes.
