Sergejs Kodors acquired doctoral degree in engineering in Computer Sciences awarded by RTA; doctoral thesis METHODOLOGY OF TOPOGRAPHICAL OBJECT CHANGE DETECTION AND RECOGNITION (supervisor: prof. Dr.sc.ing. P. Grabusts);
Pāvels Narica acquired doctoral degree in physiscs awarded by Daugavpils University; doctoral thesis CHROMIUM-NICKEL STEEL SURFACE COLOURLASER MARKINGPROCESS OPTIMIZATION (supervisor: prof. Dr.sc.ing. L.Lazov);
Alens Indriksons acquired doctoral degree in Pedagogical Sciences in the sub-field (military) pedagogy awarded by RTA; doctoral thesis FORMATION OF COMMUNICATION SKILLS IN PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF BORDER GUARDS (supervisor: prof. Dr.paed. V. Lubkina);
Imants Zarembo acquired doctoral degree in engineering in information technology subfield System analysis, modelling, and design awarded by RTA; doctoral thesis METHODOLOGY FOR SIMILARITY ASSESSMENT OF CONCEPTUAL AND RELATIONAL DATA MODELS (supervisor: prof. Dr.sc.ing. A. Teilans).
