PhD Andrzej Kusmierz shared his expertise and knowledge. He says “I support inventors and scientists to implement their ideas. Sometimes the ideas become a business, sometimes they turn to interesting training, but sometimes there is nothing.”
The time passed very quickly. The selected teaching methods, emphasizing the great importance of a team work in the development of successful business, encouraged everyone to work. The audience was asked a lot of questions, and often the lecturer gave witty comments. It should be noted that each participant had an opportunity to tell about his business idea. Linda was among the five courageous and revealed her business idea of establishing a laser tag polygon „LaserTag LATGALE” hoping that her idea would be chosen as the basis for work. During the break, the participants and the lecturer discussed with the authors of the ideas, and the idea whose author had the greatest uncertainty was chosen for developing.
Another lecturer Michal Korba, the establisher of a start-up enterprise, focused on product value and innovative business models. His key recommendation to the participants was to establish their own start-up company.
RTA students gained a lot of impressions. „It was a great opportunity to obtain views of Polish field specialists about start-up programmes. I have also gained an idea for my bachelor`s thesis,” says Edmunds.
Linda also admits that the training was valuable, “I evaluate the training as very useful for anyone who is planning to establish his own business. Such event could be as a starting point, although, in my situation it was more like prove that I am on the right path.”
Jolanta stresses that the training was a great opportunity to broaden her knowledge, gain experience, and meet new people. “This event made me to assuage fear and step out of my comfort zone. Thanks to the lecturers, the themes discussed during the training will be useful in the study process and beyond. Thanks a lot to the lecturers for encouraging young people not to be afraid, for motivation to speak, to talk, and to act.”
Thanks to our cooperation partners for the wonderful opportunity!
