The journey will take you to the west of Latvia. Kurzeme is one of 4 ethnographic provinces of Latvia. Enjoy stops in some of the historic Latvian towns all dating at least 500 years in the past. You have the chance to see the most Northern vineyard in the world, and enjoy the landscape of the Abava River Valley. Kuldiga will surprise you with its architecture of old dwelling houses still populated nowadays. You will also see the River Venta Cataract (widest in Europe) and the old aqueduct bridge there. Optional: Cineville, the only film set in Latvia; longest sand caves in the Baltic States; ceramics and weavers workshops; green market in Kuldiga.
