Experience the local flavors in Riga Central Market - the largest indoor market in Europe. If you are lucky - on weekends a series of out-door farmer's markets can be found hidden in squares and streets of Riga. Don't forget about traditional Latvian souvenirs to be found on stalls in various places in Riga Old Town. Finally in the very city center you will find 2 large shopping malls both offering worldfamous brands for reasonable prices. Souvenirs to buy include: local production of rye bread; linen; amber; hand made knitting and woodwork. Finally you visit local chocolate producing and selling shop.

Jurmala, the largest resort town in the Baltic States, well-known for its natural treasures – sea, curative mud, mineral water and pine forests. The town has a 32 km long white sand beach marked with the blue flag, which becomes a big attraction during summers; but is also a nice place for relaxation in all other seasons. There is a vast choice of big hotels and small guesthouses, SPA hotels and sanatoriums. Jurmala can be proud of its famous Dzintari Concert Hall and one of the biggest aqua-parks in Northern Europe – Livu Akvaparks. We also recommend excursions to Kemeri National park trails and boardwalks which are especially captivating for nature lovers.

Sigulda region is sometimes called „Latvian Switzerland”. The tour includes a visit to Turaida Castle built in the 13th century as the residence of the Bishop of Riga, a visit to Gutmanis` cave, a monument of nature, and a visit to Sigulda Castle, a residence of the Master of the Livonian Order. After that you will explore Gauja National Park – an excellent opportunity to see local animals in their natural habitat within large forest enclosures. Follow the 5,5 km trail and you will see wolves, lynx, bears, deer and more. Beautiful panoramic view opens out across the Gauja valley from its central watchtower. You can also follow the Untouched nature trail (1,3 km) that will take you to a Sandstone Canyon, or take the Gaujmala trail that follows the winding Gauja River.

Enjoy a splendid tour to Zemgale, the “bread basket” of Latvia. The first stop will be in Bauska to see the Bauska Palace set in a picturesque spot where two rivers meet. The highlight of the tour is Rundale Palace, the most beautiful baroque palace in the Baltic States. The journey will take you to the west of Latvia. Kurzeme is one of 4 ethnographic provinces of Latvia. Enjoy stops in some of the historic Latvian towns all dating at least 500 years in the past. You have the chance to see the most Northern vineyard in the world, and enjoy the landscape of the Abava River Valley. Kuldiga will surprise you with its architecture of old dwelling houses still populated nowadays. You will also see the River Venta Cataract (widest in Europe) and the old aqueduct bridge there. While in Ventspils you will visit Livonian Order Castle, the Old Town and the Town Hall Square, Flower sculptures and creative fountains, Cow Parade with its crown – the Traveling Cow. We will also stroll along the narrow streets of Ostgals - a special and romantic spot with quiet cobblestone streets, attractive 19th century wooden buildings and ever-present geraniums on the windowsills. Our route will also include Southern Pier built in 1905 and the Seaside Open Air Museum with its narrow-gauge railway among other sights, a short trip with a historic boat in Ventspils port. Finally, a walk through Anchors Park. Before turning back to Riga – a short trip along the Northern coast of Latvia – famous for its steep sand dunes, various lighthouses. Explore Liepaja starting at the Rose’s Square which is heart of the city and continue to the Cathedral of Holy Trinity, St.Anna’s Church, Latvian Musicians’ Alley of Fame, House of Craftsmen which owns the world’s longest string of amber beads (length – 123 m, weight – 19 kg). Take a walk along the Promenade where you will see the Amber Clock which symbolically counts the minutes spent there. One of the most interesting sites in Liepaja is Karosta (Naval port) which occupies one third of the city. It is a spectacular, paradoxical and unique site important not only in Latvia but also in world’s history and architecture. Its environment reflects interaction of tsarist Russia military elegance and soviet militarism. Today Karosta is a unique neighborhood. It is not a closed area of a military base anymore but a tourism site with inspiring environment for creative people.
